The software offers a few voice changing options and custom equalizers. I have only used the headphone jack, however, you can use a 5.1 speaker setup on this device. Ports are in strange locations but it doesn't bother me too much. I have also used a BM-800 mic with this interface (with a phantom power supply), and the audio is clean on 80%. The device doesn't stand out too much so will not be intrusive. As well, it has hardware volume, mic mute, and speaker mute.Website has lots of documentation for this device, with a full list of specifications as well as a block diagram. When downloading drivers make sure you download the CM6206-LX drivers from the support section and run in compatibility for windows 8 as it designed for 8. Under the product section of the website, the device is the CM6206 USB 7.1CH audio codec with Xear driver if more information is needed.Overall very good device, very good value, however, the input and output locations may not be for everyone.Note, I did have to reinstall drivers 30/11/17 for the Windows Fall Creators Update.
